PITTSBURGH, PA — The Pittsburgh Steelers Wild Card game against the Buffalo Bills has been moved from its original Sunday, January 14 date to 4:30 p.m. ET on Monday, January 15, New York Governor Kathy Hochul announced.

Due to inclement weather, Governor Hochul and the league have decided to push the game back a day to avoid dangerous conditions for players and fans. The state of New York has been under a state of emergency throughout the weekend.

Earlier in the week, reports appeared stating the NFL was considering a contingency plan to move the game from Buffalo to Cleveland due to the weather. A Steelers spokesperson told All Steelers the team had not heard of any plans to make the change at that time.

As of now, the Steelers and Bills are set to kick off at Orchard Park. The city is expected to get anywhere from one to two feet and high winds reaching upwards of 60 miles per hour, according to the National Weather Service.
