PITTSBURGH, PA — The Pittsburgh Steelers have re-signed wide receiver Miles Boykin to a one-year deal, the team announced.
Boykin returns after spending last season with the Steelers. He caught just two passes in 2022 but played a significant role in the offensive run game as a blocking wideout, and was one of the team’s special teams aces.
He played 50% of the team’s special teams snaps and was considered by many to be their top gunner on punt coverage.
Boykin, 26, will return to the Steelers to compete for a roster spot with Gunner Olszewski and Anthony Miller. The former third-round pick 481 yards and seven touchdowns throughout his career, but has caught just three passes the last two seasons – 2021 due to playing just eight games.
The Steelers’ wide receiver room now includes Boykin, Olszewski, Miller, Diontae Johnson, George Pickens, Calvin Austin III and Allen Robinson.
