PITTSBURGH, PA — The Seattle Seahawks have agreed to terms on a deal with former Pittsburgh Steelers inside linebacker Devin Bush, according to the Seattle Times’ Bob Condotta.
Bush is set to sign a one-year deal with Seattle, heading west after four years with the Steelers. The former 10th overall pick started 48 games during his time in Pittsburgh, recording 286 tackles, four sacks and 13 pass deflections.
Bush will be three years removed from his ACL surgery that seemed to hamper his play the following season. He’ll join a Seahawks linebacker room that Condotta is “an area of concern” for the team. He’ll line up with Jon Rhattigan, Nick Bellore and Vi Jones, and Jordyn Brooks, who is still recovering from ACL surgery.
With Bush signing in Seattle, the Steelers have officially moved on from all but second-year player Mark Robinson at inside linebacker. The team cut Myles Jack, Robert Spillane signed with the Las Vegas Raiders, and both coaches, Brian Flores and Jerry Olsavsky, are gone.
