PITTSBURGH, PA — The Pittsburgh Steelers are signing another inside linebacker, inking Elandon Roberts to a two-year deal, according to NFL Network’s Cameron Wolfe.

Roberts, who will be 29 years old at the start of the season, comes from the Miami Dolphins, where he started 43 games over the last three seasons. Last year, he had a career-high 107 tackles, 4.5 sacks and 10 tackles for loss.

Roberts joins Myles Jack and Mark Robinson on the Steelers roster. Pittsburgh also has a deal in place for inside linebacker Cole Holcomb, pending a physical.

Pittsburgh has targeted a number of inside linebackers in free agency, but didn’t make any splash until later in the negotiation period. Now, they have two players set to sign, which could leave room for them to move on from Jack.

Jack carries an $11 million cap hit for the 2023 season, and the Steelers could save $8 million if they release him. As of now, this is all speculation.
