PITTSBURGH, PA — The Pittsburgh Steelers are beginning their overhaul of the offensive coaching staff, parting ways with wide receivers coach Frisman Jackson.

Jackson has been with the team the last two seasons, helping develop wideouts Diontae Johnson, George Pickens and Calvin Austin. The team will now look to replace Jackson this offseason, and have started that search by setting up an interview with New Yok Jets wide receivers coach Zach Azzani, according to sources.

It’s unknown what other moves will come to the offensive side of the ball. Quarterbacks coach Mike Sullivan and running backs coach Eddie Faulkner could be the next move the Steelers make as they begin piecing together Smith’s new staff. Both were interim offensive coordinators after the team fired Matt Canada.

Offensive line coach Pat Meyer is expected to remain with the team in 2024.

Dulac reports the team is not expected to make any moves to their defensive staff outside of replacing assistant defensive backs coach Gerald Alexander.
