Pittsburgh Steelers Lose 2 Players With Potential Season End…



PITTSBURGH, PA – The Pittsburgh Steelers have positioned pass receiver Anthony Miller and security Karl Joseph on the injured reserve list. The 2 are most likely to miss the whole 2022 season.

Joseph left Saturday’s preseason opener against the Seattle Seahawks on a cart after suffering an injury in the first half. Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin said that Joseph was being evaluated for a foot injury following practice on Monday.

A first-round draft choice of the then Oakland Raiders out of West Virginia, Joseph was signed by the Steelers following last year’s training camp. Joseph mainly hung around on Pittsburgh’s practice team last season. He appeared in a pair of video games making 2 deals with.

Joseph had been completing for the junior varsity safety spot behind incumbent Terrell Edmunds throughout camp. He has totaled 305 combined takes on, 20 passes defended, eleven tackles-for-loss and 10 takeaways over his seven-year career.

When it comes to Miller, he suffered a shoulder injury in practice before the group’s very first preseason video game recently.

The former second-round pick signed with the Steelers practice squad on Oct. 2 and played in simply one game, catching a single pass for 2 lawns versus the Bengals in Week 12. Prior to signing up with Pittsburgh, Miller played two video games with the Houston Texans, capturing five passes for 23 yards and a touchdown.

Just time will tell on exactly how long these 2 Steelers gamers will be out for. They were two important veteran additions to the lineup, that now have to be replaced.
