The Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow will have surgery to remove his appendix just as training camp gets underway.

In his very first news conference considering that his appendectomy on July 26, Burrow said his appendix ruptured, which prompted surgical treatment. QB Joe Burrow is going through surgery to eliminate his appendix, source said.
